Youth Program

The Union Presbyterian Church Youth Group meets weekly from September through May. Youth are invited to attend as often as they would like, and they are encouraged to bring their friends. While many of our youth are involved in extra-curricular activities, they enjoy the opportunity to share in this time of fun fellowship and spiritual exploration. UPC's youth program provides our Middle School and High School youth the opportunity to grow in faith through fellowship, learning and service.

UPC youth meet regularly on Sunday nights for dinner, fellowship, discussion and games. Each month the youth participate in a mission activity either inside the church, serving as the "Bag Check" attendants at the Bargain Sale, tying blankets and collecting money for the Souper Bowl of Caring or out in the community serving at the Regional Food Bank, participating in the CROP walk or serving at the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen. Other activities include canoeing, bowling, sledding, Friendly's Ice Cream jaunts, Presbytery sponsored retreats to Camp Hebron, packing Thanksgiving baskets, a hay ride, a Christmas party, and lock-ins at the church.
